Splatterworks is where everything began. This iconic series of acrylic paintings was my earliest body of artwork, first exhibited at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair in 2010. At the time, this is how I envisioned my career to take shape (before discovering my passion for ironwork in 2011). This series features realist Wildlife portraits which were "splattered" (or superimposed) over unexpected abstract backgrounds. These works aimed to create a marriage between realism and abstraction, giving them a unique painterly quality which stands out amongst other more traditional wildlife artwork
